Events Details
On May 4th, 2024, we celebrated a remarkable evening at the Royal Ontario Museum with our fundraising Gala dinner, “By The Five Rivers.” It was a night to remember, as 320 guests gathered around 40 tables, uniting friends, supporters, and advocates for the Sikh Gallery at the ROM.
We were honoured to have Josh Basseches, the Director and CEO of the ROM, as our keynote speaker. Josh shared his passion for the initiative, updating us on the exciting progress towards creating a permanent Gallery of Sikh Art and Culture. His words about the gallery’s legacy filled the room with inspiration, reminding us all of the importance of our cultural heritage and the impact it will have on future generations.
The evening was not just about fundraising; it was a celebration of community, culture, and connection. Guests enjoyed heartfelt conversations, delicious food, and a shared vision for the future of Sikh art and culture in Canada.
If you missed it or want to relive the magic, check out our gallery of photos and videos from the event. Each snapshot captures the spirit of togetherness and our collective commitment to celebrating and preserving Sikh culture.
