The posters represent paintings by the famous Sikh painter Sardar Sobha Singh (1901–1986) or possibly some others influenced by him. While Sobha Singh’s main focus was the Sikh Gurus, their life and work, he also painted impressive portraits of national heroes and leaders. There is an art gallery in India dedicated to his work.
